You can switch back to using a WWD anytime after keeping your NHVR fatigue records on the Quallogi Electronic Work Diary.
When you swipe to start your shift, you will be presented with the 'Work Diary Type' screen
You might be wondering, what does this WWD mode do?
EWD mode allows you to record your work and rest events electronically and view the timer so you know when to take your breaks - this is the normal way to use the app.
The WWD option is provided for the when a driver wishes to switch from using the app as an approved EWD, back to keeping their legal work and rest records on a paper based WWD.
Selecting WWD will make the following fields appear:
You will need to fill out what page number of your WWD you will resume your records on, and your Security Number (which is the book number on the first page of your Written Work Diary).
Then you will need to confirm any open work and rest records for your EWD by ticking the check box next to them, and completing the driver's declaration.
You will be brought back to the main screen. Your access to the app remains, as you need to keep 28 Days of records on you as per NHVR compliance laws.
After switching to WWD mode - a comment will be added to your electronic work diary logbook records to note the date and time of the switch. You can then resume using your paper Written Work Diary.
If you decide to switch back to using an EWD from your WWD, you can swipe to switch and choose the EWD option.
